From April 20-25, 2009 the General Council and the three Provincials convened in Rome for a meeting at the newly renovated Pontifical Canadian College where Fr. Eric Sylvestre, pss, serves both as Rector and Procurator for the General Council. The meeting included visits to the Congregations for Evangelization, Religious, and Catholic Education. The primary purpose of the visits was to introduce the new Council and to update the Congregations on the current Sulpician ministry in each Province. The Council also visited the cemetery where several Sulpician confreres are buried. Cemetery Chapel
